Attend the presentation of the Youth Philharmonic Choir

Conformed by 40 young people, the Youth Philharmonic Choir performs works of the ancient polyphony, going through the Baroque and Romantic, to traditional Latin American and Colombian music.

Their voices have accompanied the Philharmonic Orchestra of Bogotá in large-format productions, such as Britten's Requiem of War, Verdi's Requiem and Puccini's Madama Butterfly, among others. It was one of the choirs invited to participate in the field Mass of Pope Francis I, in 2017.

Mayor Concert of the Youth Philharmonic Band at the Villa Mayor Theater North American director takes the baton of the Youth Philharmonic Band, with David MacKenzie of the United States and Camilo Andrés Ayala of Colombia. The Youth Philharmonic Band (BFJ), composed of 40 young people, performs a repertoire in which the instrumental manifestations of Colombian and Latin American music stand out, with original arrangements.
