Attend the presentation of the Youth Philharmonic Choir Conformed by 40 young people, the Youth Philharmonic Choir performs works of the ancient polyphony, going through the Baroque and Romantic, to traditional Latin American and Colombian music. Their voices have accompanied the Philharmonic Orchestra of Bogotá in large-format productions, such as Britten's Requiem of War, Verdi's Requiem and Puccini's Madama Butterfly, among others. It was one of the choirs invited to participate in the field Mass of Pope Francis I, in 2017. Free children's literature workshop Bibliovacaciones: Imaginative crews' is the literary workshop offered by IDPAC during these vacations. Mayor Concert of the Youth Philharmonic Band at the Villa Mayor Theater North American director takes the baton of the Youth Philharmonic Band, with David MacKenzie of the United States and Camilo Andrés Ayala of Colombia. The Youth Philharmonic Band (BFJ), composed of 40 young people, performs a repertoire in which the instrumental manifestations of Colombian and Latin American music stand out, with original arrangements. Gradually their presentations have been incorporating also classical and conventional repertoire for band and concerts in which the most outstanding musicians of the group act as soloists. He has participated in the Mono Núñez Festival, the Villa de Leyva Band Festival and the Paipa Band Festival. Its members stand out for their great talent, passion and commitment.
